The primary mission of Meher Fund, Inc., is to support the Meher Free Dispensary, an outstanding clinic in rural western India that provides comprehensive, free healthcare to thousands of underserved people from surrounding villages. Unlike many charities, which use a portion of donations to cover operating expenses, Meher Fund allocates 100% of donations to charitable grants.

Average treatment cost for one patient visit to Meher Free Dispensary is less than $10, including doctors, labs, medications and referrals for outside specialists and procedures. This means that a donation of $100 pays for around 10 such visits!
